Senior HR Manager

A multi-award winning and firmly established manufacturing company are looking for a rounded and experienced HR generalist to join and lead their team. This role takes the title of Head of HR but requires a hands-on and dynamic individual to provide operational support and advice to staff on site.

Responsibilities:

• All HR Management inc. recruitment, policy/practices, discipline, L&D, grievance etc.
• Ensure that the HR Department is managed effectively by leading, coaching and mentoring.
• Project manage significant change involving staff within the business.
• Ensure that the business retains a positive employee relations culture. Continually tracking through metrics and address accordingly.
• Lead and support business needs through development and preservation of colleagues.

Skills:

• CIPD level 7 (Desirable)
• 5 years’ minimum of experience in managing an HR function.
• Must have worked within a fast-moving consumer goods environment (FMCG)
• Solid knowledge of employment law.
• Experience leading change programmes and support of managers.
