An brand new role has become available for an HR Officer to deliver the people management strategy at a leading sales group in Gillingham, Kent. This role will be standalone and have employee engagement focus both strategic and operational. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on HR related matters.
This role will offer hybrid working both from home and the office.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior management to prepare and implement an HR employee engagement strategy.
Design and work across HR projects.
Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters.
Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures.
Keep up to date with UK employment legislation.
Manage investigations and employee relations issues including grievance and redundancy.
Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up to date.
Skills:
Qualified CIPD (preferable)
Proven HR generalist experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
