HR Manager
Salary £38,000-£42,000
We have a great role for an HR Manager with education experience to provide a professional HR service to senior leaders and employees within the sector.
You will be working as part of a proactive, innovative and responsive leadership teams to provide pragmatic, creative and focused HR solutions and recommendations across the organisation.
You will build and develop relationships with staff at all levels across the organisation to provide support, guidance and challenge where appropriate on all HR related matters.
Key responsibilities:
- To be responsible for providing an efficient, effective and customer focussed HR service that supports all aspects of transactional HR including employee lifecycle including recruitment, on-boarding conditions of employment, training and development activities, ensuring compliance with employment
- Engage in promoting and 'living' the values and ethos of the organisation.
- To build effective relationships with managers at all levels across the organisation and develop a good understanding of their work so as to be able to offer solutions that are education focussed and put the student at the heart of all decisions
- In collaboration key members of staff, ensure effective monitoring of sickness trends and remedial action in accordance with the policy and to facilitate a proactive approach to absence management to ensure a smooth return to work
- Support managers to drive performance across the business in order deliver the highest possible levels of teaching and learning
- Recruitment and Retention — drive the process to acquire and retain the best talent for the organisation.
To be suitable for this role you must have worked within the education sector.
