We are seeking an organised and proactive Office Administrator to be part of a vibrant team at a facilities management company. This is a pivotal role which will see you working collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders. The position is based at the company’s offices in East London with the potential for hybrid working after an initial period.
Reporting to Office Manager the Office Administrator will be the first point of contact for all enquiries, you’ll be a key representative for the company, providing a friendly and professional welcome to visitors, supporting with day-to-day operations, and ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a varied and rewarding role, perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving and working collaboratively across different teams.
Key Responsibilities
Answering incoming calls, greeting visitors and managing general email enquiries. Supporting event coordination, including updating and managing the venue events schedule. Assisting with the processing of invoices, purchase orders and other general finance administration. Managing office supplies and equipment in addition to overseeing first aid supplies and compliance requirements. Assisting with website updates and social media posts and supporting with general ad-hoc duties.
Candidate will have
- Previous admin experience within a commercial setting.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- An excellent communicator — both written and verbal.
- Friendly and confident, with a professional manner and a team spirit.
- Willing to learn and adaptable in a busy, fast-paced environment.
The role is offered with a salary range of between £30,000-£32,000 depending on experience.
