IT Support Engineer
Salary: up to £33,000 + benefits
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)
We are partnering with a successful and growing professional services organisation that is looking to hire an IT Support Engineer to join their collaborative IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in IT support who is eager to build their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. This is an urgent requirement and our client is looking for candidates who are immediately available or have no more than one week notice .
The Role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will act as the first point of contact for IT queries, supporting colleagues across the UK and international offices. You’ll provide hands-on technical support, assist with user onboarding, and help maintain IT systems and equipment to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities

Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to users across the UK and global offices.

Log and resolve IT issues via phone, email, and face-to-face, keeping users updated.

Configure, maintain and test IT services, including meeting room technology and shared equipment.

Support Microsoft 365 applications, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Azure environments.

Assist with the setup of new IT equipment, including desktop builds and network cabling.

Deliver IT inductions and training for new joiners.

Collaborate with third-party suppliers and escalate issues where needed.

Take part in project-based work with the wider IT team.
About You

1–2 years’ experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role.

Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office/365, Active Directory, and Azure.

Strong communication skills, confident working with staff at all levels.

Organised, proactive, and able to manage your own workload effectively.

Keen to develop within a busy, medium-sized international business.

Nice to have: CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 or CCNA certifications.
