A well-established law firm based in East London is looking for an experienced HR Data Analyst to join their People team on an initial three-month fixed-term contract.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on HR data specialist who enjoys analysing people data, developing meaningful insights and improving reporting processes to support business decision-making.
The role will focus on reviewing and enhancing existing HR reporting capabilities, extracting and analysing data from multiple sources, and developing dashboards and management information using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
Your key responsibilities as HR Data Analyst will include developing and maintaining reports and dashboards, establishing regular monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, and analysing workforce trends across headcount, absence, attrition, diversity, pay reviews and Gender Pay Gap reporting. You will work closely with the People team and senior stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, improve data accuracy and governance, and identify opportunities to streamline existing processes. You will also create sustainable reporting frameworks and documentation that the team can continue to use beyond the contract.
To be suitable for the role, you will have proven experience in HR Data Analytics, People Analytics or HR reporting, with advanced Excel skills and strong experience using Power BI. You will be confident extracting, validating and analysing data from multiple HR systems, developing reporting frameworks and presenting complex information clearly to stakeholders. Experience with SQL would be advantageous, although previous experience with PeopleHR is not essential.
The successful candidate will be analytical, proactive and comfortable working independently, with the ability to quickly understand existing processes, identify improvements and make an immediate impact.
The salary on offer is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, pro rata. The position is offered on an initial three-month fixed-term contract, and candidates must be available immediately or within a couple of weeks' notice.
