A financial services firm based in the City of London, is looking for a hands-on Head of HR to join its team. Please note, this role is an office-based position but there will be flexibility provided.
Reporting to the Managing Director of this 250 person business, you will take full responsibility for developing and implementing the people strategy and vision for the organisation. You will develop the employee handbook, along with UK policies and procedures. Additionally, you will manage employee relations, recruitment processes, appraisal frameworks, and develop the performance management programme. You will manage a team of two, therefore prior line management experience is a key requirement.
To be suitable for this role, you will be a capable and articulate Head of HR with a proven track record of improving processes in line with company objectives. You will hold strong knowledge of current employment law and will provide HR generalist support across the business. You will have a demonstrable track record of working in a collaborative, innovative and agile way and will also coach managers to get the best out of their teams.
