Finance Assistant

Finance & Accounts Assistant – Banking

  • Initial 2–3 month temporary contract with potential to extend

  • Small London-based bank

  • Day rate up to £215, dependent on experience (via umbrella company)

  • A small London-based bank is seeking an immediately available Finance & Accounts Assistant to join its finance team on a short-term contract. This is a hands-on role within a small team, offering broad exposure across transactional and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing accounts payable, including coding and inputting invoices

  • Data inputting on Excel spreadsheets

  • Reconciling the fixed asset register

  • Performing general ledger expense account reconciliations

To be considered, you will need:

  • Immediate availability and  be able to get to Green Park 5 days a week

  • Previous accounting and finance experience within a small or lean finance team

  • Experience using Sage

Desirable:

  • Prior experience within financial services or banking
