Finance & Accounts Assistant – Banking

Initial 2–3 month temporary contract with potential to extend
Small London-based bank
Day rate up to £215, dependent on experience (via umbrella company)
Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the London office

A small London-based bank is seeking an immediately available Finance & Accounts Assistant to join its finance team on a short-term contract. This is a hands-on role within a small team, offering broad exposure across transactional and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing accounts payable, including coding and inputting invoices
Preparing and supporting management accounts reporting
Reconciling the fixed asset register
Performing general ledger expense account reconciliations

To be considered, you will need:

Immediate availability and the ability to commute to a London office 3 days per week
Previous accounting and finance experience within a small or lean finance team
Experience using Sage

Desirable:

Prior experience within financial services or banking
