A successful and well-established business based in Hatfield is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable organisation where you’ll work closely with colleagues across the business in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities

Working closely with sales and operations teams to minimise outstanding debt

Maintaining, updating, and reconciling the sales ledger

Ensuring credit control policies and processes are followed

Taking payments and coordinating new credit account applications

Producing and maintaining accurate debtor reports

Investigating and resolving customer queries in a timely manner
Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience in credit control and bookkeeping

Experience using accounting systems (ERP/CRM) and Microsoft Office

Previous experience producing debtor and aged debt reports
-
Strong organisational, numeracy, and attention-to-detail skills

Confident communication skills with a professional and friendly approach
Please note, due to the company’s location on the outskirts of Hatfield, you will need to be a car driver. The site is easily commutable from St Albans, Potters Bar, and Welwyn Garden City.
Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm.
