A government body is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide hands-on talent acquisition and employer branding expertise, driving immediate improvements in candidate attraction and recruitment campaigns. Duties will include leading direct sourcing activities, designing and delivering Employer Value Proposition Lite (EVP) attraction campaigns, providing insightful data and analysis, supporting HR leadership as well as liaising with the permanent talent team.
Based in the Swindon area, Wiltshire - hybrid. This is a contract role for initially 19 weeks (37 hours per week) from approximately 3rd November and paying £35.35 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £27 per hour). The closing date is Friday, 31st October.
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruitment Consultant or similar role with proven track record in talent acquisition within local government, NHS, education, or wider public/voluntary sectors. Strong hands-on expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and recruitment marketing campaigns as well as experience designing and delivering employer branding or EVP projects, with measurable impact, is also required. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of finding hard-to-recruit professionals, particularly in social care, legal, and specialist frontline roles. Any experience of recruiting into Children's Services is highly desirable, but not essential.
