A well-established construction business that has been established for over 25 years is looking for a confident, determined and detail-oriented Systems Administrator to join its expanding team based in its Potters Bar office. There are lots of exciting upcoming IT projects and progression opportunities within the business. You are required onsite during probation, and once passed, the role will become hybrid.
As one of the 5 key members of the IT department reporting to the Head of IT, you will provide proactive 2nd and 3rd line end-user and systems support across a diverse technology stack, with responsibility for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Windows systems within a virtualised environment. You will also be mentoring 2 members of the IT Team and are expected to highlight key areas to expand IT services within the business that can provide additional benefits to the company.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must have proven commercial experience working within a virtualised environment, have proven Windows Servers and Operating Systems support experience, have proven exposure working with Azure, and have strong networking exposure also with TCP/IP, VPN, Layer 3 firewalls, Routing, etc.
