A highly successful, rapidly growing software house based in the heart of Central London is searching for an Software Support Analyst to join its technology team. The organisation requires you to be in the office 5 days per week with the flexibility of reducing to 4 days per week following successful completion of the probationary period.
As the Application Support Analyst / IT Support Engineer, you will be providing customer focussed support for both software and hardware platforms including internal IT and infrastructure assistance. You will ensure end to end resolution of issues, provide analysis of client site problems and be involved in software testing, client server health checks and client platform implementation.
The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical support role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You will have proven experience supporting both Windows and Linux environments. You will have strong experience of MySQL administration paired with basic understanding of writing SQL queries and scripting. Any experience with Active Directory would be beneficial to your application.
In order to be suitable for this role you will be IT literate and have the ability to understand trouble-shooting methods, have excellent communication skills and have the ability to analyse and prioritise caseloads.
