A government body is seeking an experienced Service Charge Analyst (Human Resources) to be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to service charge payers and other stakeholders.
Based in Croydon, or Sittingbourne – hybrid, 3 days in the office. This is an interim role for initially 9 weeks from approximately 25th August and paying £28 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £21.90 per hour). The closing date is Thursday 14th August.
Reporting to the Service Charge Manager, the successful incumbent will be tasked with accurately calculating, constructing, and issuing all estimated and actualised service charges ensuring compliance with legal deadlines, contractual agreements, policies, and procedures enabling full recoverability of costs, focusing on complex cases. Duties will also include, dealing with residents directly to resolve complex customer queries, preparing service charge information and supporting evidence for First Tier Tribunal and attend if required as well as sharing knowledge with the team.
To be suitable for this role you must have proven experienced in service charge analysis, with a robust understanding of residential and commercial service charge management, including current legislative requirements, sector best practice, as well as experience of working with councillors, the wider community, and other external partners. It is essential to have strong organisational, communication, financial / numerical, & customer service skills.
