A global household name is looking for a Senior Press Officer to support with the delivery of an ambitious international media relations strategy.

To be suitable for this role you must have proven experience of delivering a professional media communications and engagement strategy. You will be enthusiastic about creating content to engage global media and will compose and edit impactful press releases, web articles, and copy for social media channels. You’ll have worked in a high-profile press office environment, in-house and/or agency side, and be comfortable managing your own relationships with the media.
You will have a track record of maximising media engagement and press coverage and will field enquiries around key moments in the calendar. You will also have a meticulous eye for detail and demonstrable experience in conceptualizing, packaging and delivering content that excites and engages global media outlets.
Reporting to the Director of Media, you will combine the ability to write and develop powerful copy, with the interpersonal skills required to build and influence relationships with key stakeholders, including journalists, global media contacts and external partners. You will also have excellent sub-editing, proofreading and design management skills, coupled with the ability to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of media campaigns.
The successful candidate will have experience in developing content in an integrated way – from writing press materials and pitching stories to global media outlets to developing creative activations and social media content which can engage both media and public audiences alike.
