Senior Marketing & Events Executive

- Salary up to £55,000 plus bonus and benefits
- Initial 12 month fixed term contract
- Hybrid working (3 days in Central London office and 2 days from home)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing & Events Executive to join an established marketing team on a fixed-term basis. This is a varied role combining B2B marketing, corporate events, sponsorships and communications, ideal for someone who enjoys managing projects from initial planning through to delivery while working closely with senior stakeholders and commercial teams.
You’ll play an important role in delivering a programme of events and integrated marketing campaigns designed to strengthen relationships, increase engagement and support wider business growth.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the development and delivery of an annual B2B events and sponsorship programme.

Planning and delivering conferences, seminars, roadshows, webinars and networking events.

Managing the full event process, including venues, suppliers, registrations, communications and on-the-day delivery.

Managing relationships with venues, production agencies, event technology providers and other external suppliers.

Supporting the development of event content and speaker programmes alongside senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Working closely with regional teams and advisers to deliver local client and prospect events.

Developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns to support events and wider business objectives.

Creating engaging marketing content including invitations, email campaigns, articles, presentations, social media content and promotional materials.

Ensuring communications are consistent with brand guidelines and corporate messaging.

Identifying opportunities to increase event attendance, engagement and brand awareness.

Managing event budgets and maintaining strong cost control.

Measuring event and campaign performance and using insights to improve future activity.
You’ll ideally have:

Strong experience in B2B marketing, events or a combined marketing and events role.

Experience in financial services, banking, insurance or professional services

Proven experience delivering corporate events from planning through to execution and post-event evaluation.

Strong project management and organisational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong copywriting ability.

Experience developing and delivering integrated marketing campaigns.

Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Experience managing budgets and monitoring performance against objectives.

Experience using event technology platforms such as Cvent, Zoom Webinar or similar.

A proactive, creative and commercially aware approach to marketing and events.
