A highly regarded independent education provider in Surrey is looking for a Recruitment, Payroll & Compliance Coordinator with a good knowledge of GDPR. The school is located just a 5 min walk from a mainline station with good links into London.
In this well-rounded and varied role, you will become an integral part of the HR team and have involvement in the key HR operational areas such as recruitment, onboarding, pre-employment checks, as well as overseeing all payroll and pension administration. Whilst the school do use external service providers for functions such as pension and payroll, you will act as the first point of contact for any staff queries and deliver general administration to HR records.
Being an educational setting, it is essential that all vetting checks, security and compliance paperwork is completed, along with maintenance of accurate HR files in accordance with KCSIE legislation (Keep Children Safe in Education).
Another aspect of the role will be ensuring that the correct GDPR processes are followed, in order to keep the school compliant.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have demonstrable experience in the main subjects listed above, as well as an awareness of the LCSIE legislation and safeguarding policies and hold a CIPD membership.
