Purchase Ledger Team Lead – Central London - £50,000 – Hybrid
A highly successful and rapidly growing business are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk or Purchase Ledger Accountant to lead their Accounts Payable team. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking business with a supportive and friendly team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage a team of two Purchase Ledger Assistants as you oversee and arrange the posting of all purchase invoices; ensuring timely postings of invoices by the AP Team and payments to all suppliers. You will process and arrange weekly supplier payment runts and reconcile credit ledgers and statements. You will also support management accountant processes regarding accruals and prepayments. Other responsibilities will include:
Purchase ledger Aged Creditor Analysis and tracking of invoices due for payment
Weekly cash forecasting & reporting / Annual Budgeting for Rates & Utilities
Any other ad-hoc tasks requested by CFO & FM as and when required
To be suitable for this Purchase Ledger Accountant role you will have gained significant experience in a purchase ledger role and will possess excellent communication and relationship building skills. Previous line management experience is a plus as is a working knowledge of SUN systems.
The salary on offer for this role is up to £50,000 plus benefits.
