A government body is seeking an experienced Administrator to provide high quality legal advice on routine/standard litigation related matters in particular housing management and landlord & tenant contentious matters to the Housing Organisation and its Group partners. To draft legal proceedings, witness statements and pleadings from precedents as instructed. To assist the Litigation Lawyers with more complex contentious matters. To assist in the provision of effective training as required on a variety of housing law issues to colleagues.
Based in the London (option for hybrid working with agreement). This is a contract role for initially 18 weeks (35 hours per week) from approximately 3rd November and paying £22.27 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £17.47 per hour). The closing date is Tuesday, 21st October.
To be suitable for this role, you must have a law degree, or equivalent, along with experience of undertaking or assisting with housing management litigation casework, particularly for housing associations or other public sector bodies and / or experience of working in a legal environment (solicitors practice or legal department). It is also essential to have strong IT skills, particularly MS Office and Outlook.
