A well-established business is seeking a personable and ambitious IT Manager to join its growing internal team based in Hertfordshire.
Within this role, you will be managing a team of 6 and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the IT department, by acting as a change leader to drive process changes that are needed to support the overall business plan.
Acting as a strategic leader, you will be involved in IT projects which you will project manage, including designing and deploying new IT systems, services, policies, and processes across the business and ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget, as well as assessing vendors to develop test strategies for new hardware and software.
You will monitor the performance of the in-house technology systems and support services and make any recommendations you see fit for improving the IT infrastructure, as well as enhancing the customers' overall user journey. You will also work closely with Board Members and Senior Management to ensure developments are prioritised and meet business goals to ensure successful transformation of the business.
In order to be considered, you must have experience with the following:
Hands-on leadership experience with managing IT teams
Prior experience of working within a Windows environment
Proven experience in liaising with board-level members and senior stakeholders
Leading the development of IT Services through a significant program of change
Experience in recruiting and managing technical staff
Knowledge surrounding ITIL best practice infrastructure, service operations, and continuous improvement.
