An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IT and Project Manager to join a very well established growing organisation.

 

Reporting into the Head of IT and leading a team of eight, the successful IT and Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT infrastructure, ensuring the successful running and of the function and overseeing all 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support.

 

In addition to the daily management of the infrastructure the role will incorporate the following duties: 

 

· Operating at a strategic level on a variety of IT and Digital change projects

· Acting as the escalation point for all 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support queries

· Overseeing the IT infrastructure and monitoring the performance of the function

· Ensuring back-ups are scheduled on time and that the IT environment is always adequately protected

 

Although not essential to securing the role, any experience working on projects related to; GDPR, cyber essential or similar compliance would be highly desirable.

This is a particularly hands on role and will require the successful candidate to have a solid background in IT infrastructure including supporting severs and networks.
