A successful business based in Uxbridge is looking for an accomplished IT Director to join its senior leadership team. The firm embraces flexibility and offers a hybrid working environment with 1 or 2 days per week at home. Please note the successful candidate will be required to travel to Wales regularly (either for one day each week or for two days with an overnight stay every 2 weeks), so please only apply for this role if you are comfortable with regular business travel.
You will devise and implement the IT strategy and deliver a robust, efficient, and secure technology environment that harnesses the latest technology to enhance business performance. Key focus areas will include AI & Automation, optimizing IT systems, digital transformation, data analytics, and ensuring cyber-resilience and security across all platforms.
In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you must be a proven technology leader with a collaborative style and strategic vision. You will manage a team of 6 and will foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will be a commercially astute, empathetic leader with outstanding communication skills and a commitment to service excellence. Your previous experience will include overseeing IT infrastructure and software development.
Reporting directly to the MD, you will oversee IT infrastructure services, cyber security, digital transformation, AI adoption and software development. As the firm operates in the healthcare industry any experience in the health or care sectors would be advantageous to your application.
