A successful construction firm based in Central London is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This role is office-based so you will be expected to be onsite 5 days per week. Please note, there may be occasional travel to other sites.
Reporting into the IT Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and developing a broad infrastructure estate with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies, endpoints, servers and networking. You will support 2nd and 3rd line IT queries in this hands-on role including administering Microsoft 365, managing Entra ID and Intune, and supporting networking across offices including switching, firewalls, VPN and site connectivity. You will also support with site mobilisations and contribute to longer-term infrastructure initiatives including endpoint modernisation and network standardisation.
In order to be suitable for this role, you will be an IT professional that enjoys taking ownership of infrastructure, you will be a practical and hands-on part of the team with solid Windows Servers and Microsoft 365 experience. You will have experience with Intune and SCCM and have the ability to work across a multi-site, multi-company environment. Any experience within the construction sector is advantageous to your application but by no means necessary.
