HR Manager - Wickford, Essex - £50,000pa

A well established, successful business based in Wickford, Essex are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you can quickly add value.

As the HR Manager, supported by the HR Executive, you will play a key role in shaping, developing and executing HR strategies, initiatives and process that align with business strategy. You will proactively advise Directors and lead on HR strategy, policies, employee relations, retention, staff development and recruitment.

Your key responsibilities as HR Manager will include addressing day to day HR queries and managing a wide range of HR processes from routine tasks to complex projects. Designing and implementing competitive compensation, benefits and HR policies aligned with business goals and legal requirements. You will proactively manage employee relations, performance evaluations and development initiatives to foster a positive work environment. You will lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes to attract and retain talent, identify training needs and develop training programs and you will spearhead employee engagement initiatives including surveys and programs to promote a collaborative and positive workplace culture.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified with 5+ years of experience in HR within an SME. You will have good MS Office skills, excellent knowledge of UK employment law and great people and communication skills with a high attention to detail.

The salary on offer is up to £50,000 per annum and a benefits package which includes 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases with service) and private health care.
