Fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Generalist to join a prestigious institution within the field of Education. As part of their supportive and professional HR team, you will handle a range of HR functions, building strong working relationships with the organisation’s staff, providing advice and guidance across a broad range of HR issues, whilst promoting a supportive and inclusive culture. 

 

The role is hybrid with 3 days a week based at their Central London site and 2 days remote.

 

This would be an ideal position for a HR professional who enjoys working across the whole spectrum of HR with solid ER case experience and a passion for driving forward TEI initiatives.

 

Working with the wider HR function you will advise line managers on best practices and foster a culture of self-sufficiency among managers. You will assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives, with a focus on promoting fairness, transparency, and equity. The role will see you getting involved in the end-to-end employee life cycle including, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and training, with a strong focus on ER including disciplinaries, grievances and appeals. You will conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that safer recruitment practices are adhered to for all areas of recruitment. You will also deliver on training needs, sourcing and providing course materials, as well as managing their online training portal and inhouse induction program.

 

To be successful candidates must have the following:

Previous experience within a HR Advisor role

Strong knowledge of Employment law including Visa requirements

CIPD qualified/part qualified.

Experience in managing ER casework.

Previous experience in driving forward DEI initiatives

Solid MS Office user and HRIS – preferably iTrent.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skill

 

The salary for this role is between £40,000 to £41500 plus excellent benefits including 30 days holiday, pension, subsidised canteen and staff events.
