A well-established organisation is looking for an accomplished HR Advisor to join their team on an initial 1 year Fixed-Term Contract basis, located in Abbey Wood. Please note this position will be office based initially for a 3-month training period and upon successful completion of this, the company offers 2 days remote working.
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the chosen candidate will work as part of a tight-knit team of 4 to provide an effective and efficient HR partnering service to senior managers. You will assist in delivering a full HR service to the business, providing support across recruitment, engagement initiatives, and learning and development. You will be organised and methodical in your approach and will ensure that your advice and guidance is in line with company policies, procedures and legal requirements. You will be responsible for coaching and supporting managers through complex employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievance, conflict resolution, absence/sickness management, performance, change-related, etc).
In order to be suitable for this role, you must be a proven HR generalist with demonstrable expertise in employee relations. You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrable expertise providing a proactive support service to the business. You will be a personable and empathetic HR professional with a passion for people, consummate communication skills, and proven track record of implementing a successful HR strategy. CIPD accreditation is preferred but not essential.
You will ensure that a smooth and efficient HR service is delivered to the business, providing guidance to the business from an operational perspective.
