A well-established professional services business based near Waterloo is looking for an ambitious and experienced IT Manager to join its close-knit team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and execute IT strategy whilst working closely with Senior Management to steer the business and grow the function.

This is a highly strategic role and the successful candidate will be responsible for driving forward the technical direction and development of the department. You will be planning and leading the business’ IT strategy to achieve business aims, as well as evaluating, deploying and managing current/future IT processes and practices.

Further to the above you will manage a small internal central team and oversee outsourced suppliers, with the responsibility of selecting and managing the right external vendors and suppliers to supplement the company’s internal expertise and support business development.

To be suitable for this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have demonstrable experience at senior manager level within an in-house IT function with a large remit covering core systems and infrastructure. In addition, prior experience with cloud-based infrastructure and CRM systems would be highly beneficial to your application.
