Gazetteer / GIS Officer - Inside IR35 - £19.50 per hour - Remote

A government body is seeking an experienced Gazetteer / GIS Officer to be responsible for maintaining and updating the Local Land & Property Gazetteer (LLPG) and Local Street Gazetteer (LSG), including council's address databases, creation and plotting of new streets/developments, in accordance with statutory requirements, liaison with Geoplace and Ordnance Survey to ensure compliance with standards and awareness of developments.
 
This is a remote role. This is a contract role for initially 12 weeks (37 hours per week) from approximately 20th October and paying £19.50 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £15.31 per hour). The closing date is Wednesday, 15th October.
 
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in a Gazetteer, GIS Officer, Geographical Information Systems Technician, Cartographer, Urban Planner or similar role. It is essential to have experience updating the Land and Property Gazetteer and using it to plot data and create maps.
