A professional, healthcare regulation company are looking for a Finance Officer to join the team on an initial six-month fixed term contract, with a possibility of the role being made permanent after this time.
Please note – hybrid working is offered – 3 days per week in the office based in Central London and 2 days at home.
As the Finance Officer you will be supporting the Head of Finance in running the efficient and effective financial controls, reporting and monitoring on all expenditure and income.
Your key responsibilities as Finance Officer will include preparing monthly management accounts including all reconciliations and associated financial reporting, weekly check of payment runs, monthly bank reconciliations, payroll reconciliations and assisting the Head of Finance in preparing financial reports, annual financial statements and preparing forecasts. You will also oversee all procurement activity including facilitating tender exercises, conducting quarterly audits on procurement activity to ensure policy compliance, maintaining contracts and preparing the quarterly procurement report.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a similar role, with exposure to payroll, producing month end accounts and assisting with year-end external audits. You will be part or fully AAT qualified with good working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Outlook and Word, prior Sage experience is desirable. You will be an excellent communicator, have good attention to detail and time management skills.
The salary on offer is up to £44,000 per annum plus benefits including 32.5 day annual leave (plus bank holidays).
