A highly successful, award-winning Law firm with offices in the UK & Europe are looking for a Billing Assistant to join the team.
The role offers hybrid working (3 days per week in their Central London office and 2 days per week working from home).
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months experience working in a billing/client invoicing role within the legal sector, perhaps you gained experience through a billing internship or are currently working as a Billing Assistant, Billing Administrator or Finance Assistant within a law firm.
As the Billing Administrator, you will be working at the heart of a successful billing team, performing all billing duties in support of the team and contribute towards the continuing growth of the business.
Your key responsibilities as Billing Assistant will include managing WIP, preparing WIP reports for distribution to fee earners and partners, amending WIP and preparing draft bills. You will act as the first point of contact for queries and requests from attorneys across Europe and you will assist the Billing Coordinator with the upload of eBilling LEDES files. You will also finalise bills, oversee compliance with internal billing procedures, manage disbursements, request the opening of new case files and communicate with fee earners, partners and external clients.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months experience working in legal billing/client invoicing and excellent IT skills including strong MS Excel. You will be organised, able to manage and prioritise your own workload and be an excellent communicator with a professional attitude and team spirit.
The salary on offer is £27,000 - £30,000 per annum plus a great benefits package which includes a discretionary bonus, private healthcare, enhanced maternity/parental leave, flexi leave and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) – to name a few.
