A well-established and growing business with an excellent reputation is looking for a hands-on Accounts / Finance Manager based from their East Liverpool office (office-based 5 days). This is a fixed-term contract for initially 3 months, and there is a possibility it may develop into a permanent position for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage all financial operations within a dynamic and growing organisation. This is a hands-on, standalone role responsible for end-to-end finance functions, including payroll processing, budgeting, financial reporting, invoicing, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Duties will include providing accurate and timely financial insights to support strategic decision-making, maintaining strong financial controls, and developing efficient processes. It presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive and self-motivated finance professional who thrives in an autonomous role and can confidently manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
This role would suit highly organised and detail-oriented candidates with proven experience in Accounts Manager, Finance Manager or similar roles, ideally in a standalone capacity for a medium-sized business. It is essential to have strong payroll and transactional (AP / AR invoicing) skills as well as the ability to start immediately. Any experience with Sage would be beneficial.
This Accounts / Finance Manager role is paying up to £40,000 pro rata.
