An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and client focused Events Officer to join a dynamic business specialising in innovation and R&D. Offering hybrid working, you will be able to work flexibly with two days per week in the office and three at home.
As an Events Officer you will be responsible for coordinating a range of development activities within the department; supporting in the coordination and management of events, develop content for the events, record the impact and feedback from events and communicate this to senior management and the marketing team.
You will engage with a range of clients, varying in size with a focus of expanding their investment in the organisation. In addition, you will produce a range of bid/tender and proposal documents in conjunction with sales and marketing teams and will lead on a range of business development activities to deliver maximum revenue streams into the organisation.
This role will be fundamental in supporting this organisations growth strategy and you will get the opportunity to work across events, content production, engagement and the bid process. You will report back to senior management teams as well as marketing and comms so will need to be both analytical and creative in your approach.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, personable with great relationship building skills. You will have previously worked in a customer or client facing role preferably within events and will be comfortable actively managing customer relationships to drive revenue.
