A well-established business is seeking a dynamic, personable and creative European Marketing Manager with proven B2B experience to join its team, based in Corby, Northamptonshire. The business embraces flexibility and hybrid working so you will be able to work from home 3 days per week. As the role has a European remit some international travel will be required (you will make circa 1/2 trips per month spending 2 nights away from home in Western Europe).

This is an outstanding opportunity for an entrepreneurial European Marketing Manager with obvious commercial acumen and a successful track record in B2B and digital marketing to take the next step in their career at a hugely ambitious and fast-growing business.  

In this business critical role, you will work with the CMO to develop and deliver the marketing strategy and vision of the Group, with a view to capturing market share and driving growth.  

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful marketing teams and will be a confident and energetic communicator. The role will focus on B2B marketing across multiple brands, and it is expected that you will have an incisive understanding of both offline and online marketing, allied to the interpersonal skills required to nurture key relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

You will also be a consummate communicator with proven experience of creating and delivering an effective product, brand and marketing strategy. You will be a creative and analytical thinker with an entrepreneurial approach and passion for digital communication. You will create compelling marketing campaigns that will engage existing customers and attract new business and will bring robust analysis to the business, optimising the ROI of the marketing budget and utilising technology to enhance the marketing strategy. Any experience working with distributors or trade customers would be advantageous to your application as would international experience.

Key responsibilities will include:   

  • The investigation and development of market segment analysis, particularly in the target areas of Corporate (direct) clients and their Creative Marketing Agencies.
  • The development of detailed five year market plans for target segments including decision analysis, market mapping and competitor analysis.

  • The identification and specification of new products opportunities including sales forecasts, gross margin delivery and promotional plans.

  • The development and management of the company’s brands.

  • Further development of the company’s e-commerce platform and digital marketing plan.
