A well-established organisation is looking for an accomplished Programme Director / Technology Transformation Director with proven experience of delivering digital transformation projects to join its team on an initial 18 month fixed-term contract.
In this business critical role, you will work with the Executive team to devise, sponsor and deliver a large-scale £multi-million digital transformation programme. The position will have a particular emphasis on building long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure that technological change is delivered in a way that aligns with the key objectives of the organisation, so consummate communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively are prerequisites.
In order to be suitable for this position you must have proven experience of working at a senior level to successfully deliver complex (£10m+) digital transformation programmes that improve the customer experience. Previous experience within the public, healthcare or not-for-profit sectors would be advantageous to your application.
You will work at executive level, act as the programme sponsor and drive forward the technology modernisation agenda. You will work with the board to translate their transformative vision into a technology roadmap and will partner with internal teams and outsourced partners to create effective solutions that deliver tangible benefits for the business and end users.
Key responsibilities will include:
Modernising core technology systems to improve the collection, storage and security of data
Developing new digital services, such as apps and web-based services to improve engagement and communication
Utilising technology to provide the business with key insights and improve the overall customer experience
Ensuring effective communication across the entire organisation to engender support for the change programme.
