A government body is seeking an experienced Business Support Officer / Administrator to provide customer-focused, efficient and effective administrative support to the Transport team, including project support where required. Duties will involve managing the mailboxes and casework systems, ensuring timely and accurate responses to internal and external enquiries, complaints, and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
Based in the Catford area, SE London / Kent - 2 days in the office. This is a contract role for initially 24 weeks (36 hours per week) from approximately 8th October and paying £30.06 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £23.49 per hour). The closing date is Monday, 29th September.
To be suitable for this role, you must have an enhanced DBS certification, along with proven administration / customer service experience with a local authority, council or similar complex organisation. It is essential to be highly organised with excellent IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases and word processing. Any working knowledge of one or more of the core services Transport, Highways, Sustainable Transport, complaint handling would be highly beneficial.
