Business Support / Administration Officer - Inside IR35 - £17 per hour - South Wales

A government body is seeking an experienced Business Support / Administration Officer to provide administrative and business support, ensuring the effective delivery of service and efficient use of resources for Children's Services. Duties will include maintaining working relationships, liaising with departments, processing invoices and raising purchase requisitions, updating computer systems, compiling and collating documents, and occasionally traveling to different office locations.
 
Based in the Cwmbran area, South Wales. This is a contract role for initially 9 weeks (30 hours per week) from approximately 27th October and paying £17.21 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £13.69 per hour). The closing date is Friday, 17th October.
 
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in a Business Support Officer, Secretary, Administration Officer or similar admin-focused role in a complex organisation, ideally a borough or council. It is essential to have experience working with a range of databases, & MS Office, as well as excellent communication, customer care and organisational skills.
