Business Analyst - Cyber Insurance / Underwriting
A global insurance company are looking for an experience Business Analyst with insurance sector experience. Ideally you will have worked with or have an understanding of cyber insurance and/or underwriting.
This role can be fully remote/home based within the UK as long as you can get to either the London or Birmingham office once or twice a month. The salary is up to £70,000 plus 20% bonus and other benefits. Please note the role is starting off as a 12 month fixed term position with the possibility of going permanent afterwards.
The Business Analyst role will involve the following:
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the business and technology landscape.
- Translate the business value into requirements, creating appropriate user stories
- Analyse, document and challenge end to end business processes and customer journeys.
- Ensure alignment between requirements, user stories and test output, including managing User Acceptance Testing.
- Ensure solution designs align with Enterprise Architecture principles as well as any design principles and strategy decisions
In order to be suitable you will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience as a BA within an Agile environment
- Strong experience in the insurance sector, ideally covering projects around Cyber or Underwriting
- Ability to work with teams located across multiple time zones
- Data flow & contract analysis and definition
- Effective user story writing/management
- Skilled in the analysis and documentation of complex business processes.
