A government body is seeking an experienced Benefits Manager - Financial to lead the Benefits team, including Overpayments and Data Control staff. Duties will include managing and reporting the performance of the team, completing all mandatory statistical DWP / Auditor returns, dealing with complex queries, analysing performance data and software upgrades and producing reports.
Based in the Loughborough area, Leicestershire - hybrid, at least 2 days per week. This is a contract role for initially 8 weeks (37 hours per week) from approximately 10 November and paying £58.01 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes, and umbrella company charges (PAYE £45 per hour). The closing date is Thursday, 6th November.
To be suitable for this role, you must have experience working in a Benefits Manager, Financial Manager or similar role, ideally in a complex organisation, preferably a local Borough or Council. It is essential to have strong IT skills and DBS.
