Azure Cloud and Network Infrastructure Engineer - Global Charity (4 days a week)
*Initial 3 month contract, 4 days a week, £375 per day inside IR35, remote working with very occasional visits to London office*
A well known global charity is looking for an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer to join its IT function. The role will initially be a 3 month contract with potential to extend. The role will focus on Infrastructure, Network and Server based support and projects.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of 3rd line incidents
- Work with external vendors and suppliers
- Administration of Azure environment (hosting, Azure AD, Windows desktop, security etc.)
- Support the design of infrastructure systems
- Backup and recovery
To be considered suitable you will need to have the following skills/experience:
- Strong understanding of Azure Cloud and Windows Server products
- Networking and virtualisation
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and VLANs
- Ability to deploy routers and switches
- Knowledge of assessing security alerts
- Powershell scripting/automation
- Intune
