Administrative Assistant / Officer - Inside IR35 - £16 per hour - South Wales

A government body is seeking an experienced Administrator to undertake all general administration tasks, including the collation and processing of information in respect of systems, procedures, or records for the Housing Needs Unit. Duties will include updating records, assisting service users to complete forms, facilitating multi-agency meetings, ensuring statutory checks, processing goods & services, as well as monitoring invoices, payments and accounts.
 
Based in the Newport area, South Wales (office-based). This is a contract role for initially 18 weeks (37.5 hours per week) from approximately 27th October and paying £16.32 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £12.85 per hour). The closing date is Monday, 20th October.
 
To be suitable for this role, you must be a Team Administrator, Secretary, Office Assistant or similar administration-based role in a complex organisation, preferably a government body. Strong customer service skills or previous reception experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
