A government body is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk / Purchase Ledger Officer to process invoice payments to providers of goods and services as part of a busy payments team.
Based in the Catford area, SE London / Kent - hybrid. This is a contract role for initially 26 weeks (35 hours per week) from approximately 8th October and paying £28.27 per hour, less deductions for insurance, taxes and umbrella company charges (PAYE £22.14 per hour). The closing date is Friday, 3rd October.
To be suitable for this role, you must have proven experience in an Account Payable Clerk, Purchase Ledger Officer, Ledger Clerk, Finance Transaction Officer, or similar role processing invoices in a busy environment. It is essential to have excellent attention to details, an aptitude for learning as well as strong Word, & Email & Outlook skills. Any experience with Oracle and / or Social Care systems such as ContrOCC would be highly desirable, but not essential.
