A global market-leading law firm is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant / Financial Operations Assistant. As Financial Operations Assistant you will work closely with the Cashiering Coordinator and the Financial Operations Supervisor to ensure office and client account receipts and transactions are posted/paid correctly and in a timely manner.
The focus of the role will be processing receipts and payments for both London and selected smaller international offices in EMEA as well as overseeing the firm’s accounts payable function for general ledger expenditure in the main. This role is akin to a Legal Cashier role.
The role is paying £30,000-£38,000 and is hybrid (3 days in the office 2 days work from home). The firm offers great progression opportunities and fantastic benefits, and is well known for being an enjoyable and flexible firm to work for.
Key Skills required:
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger experience.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.
- Knowledge of Aderant, Word and PowerPoint is desirable.
- Full training will be provided on our AP automation tool (Basware)
- The ability to maintain confidential information.
Education and Experience:
- Relevant professional services experience, legal services/law firm experience is preferable.
