We have a great opportunity for an experienced 1st/2nd line IT Support Analyst to join a fashion retailer at its London office, on a Fixed Term Contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a small, hands-on IT team, providing support to colleagues across the business from the company’s offices based in the Islington area of London. This a hybrid role with 3 days office based.
The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to both the office-based team and various retail sites, ensuring a responsive and high-quality service across the company. You will be responsible for incident management, service request fulfilment, end-user support and day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional, customer-focused 1st/ 2nd line IT support to onsite and remote users
- Resolve IT incidents and service requests within agreed service levels
- Manage service requests including new starter provisioning, hardware replacements, user access and permissions.
- Provide hands-on support across Windows and macOS environments, including Apple laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot a broad range of hardware, software, connectivity and user-related issues, including basic networking and Wi-Fi problems.
- Support and maintain modern workplace, endpoint management and device management technologies.
- Assist with endpoint security, patching, compliance and IT asset management to maintain a secure and well-managed technology environment.
You will have
- Experience within a Desktop Support, EUC or Service Desk environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows, macOS and the wider Apple ecosystem.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to resolving technical issues
- Proven experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals
- Good knowledge of IT service management principles, including incident and service request management.
- Sound understanding of networking fundamentals, with the ability to diagnose and resolve common connectivity issues.
- Experience working with modern workplace and endpoint management technologies.
- Understanding of endpoint security, patching, compliance and device management practices.
This is a 3 month FTC role (possibility of being extended) with a salary of between £35,000 - £38,000p.a. pro rata - DOE. Candidates must be available to start next week.
