An established global web business is looking for an ambitious and business-driven professional Full Stack Web Developer with Ruby / Ruby on Rails skills to work from home as part of an agile development team tasked with writing, testing and releasing a range of responsive websites and other online tools / applications.
Duties will include working closely with product owners to understand priorities and requirements, translating business requirements into online experience, liaising with the marketing and design teams to implement new features on our websites, as well as mentoring other developers.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience in a Front-End Developer, Full Stack Developer, Application Engineer, Software Programmer, Web Developer or similar role building responsive websites and applications as well as a strong understanding of latest best practices for site performance and optimisation. Comprehensive understanding of all the requisite underlying systems and connections that support the functioning of all sites, including connections to product database and internal API's is also required. It is essential to have strong Ruby / Ruby on Rails, Rest API, HTML, CSS, Typescript, Angular. The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of server-side web languages (Node.JS) and design principles and visual layout.
This is a pivotal role in a large constantly evolving business - they have plenty of planned enterprise-level projects. This Working from Home Full Stack Web Developer with Ruby / Ruby on Rails skills role is paying a maximum basic salary of £60,000 plus 10% bonus and benefits.
