Web Analyst / Analytics

Web Analyst - Financial Services/Fintech
 
A global fintech firm based in Vauxhall are looking for a Web Analyst / Web Analytics Analyst to join their UK marketing team as it continues to grow.
 
This role can be split between office and home working. The salary on offer is up to £40,000 plus benefits and you will be joining a fast growing company who operate in 70 countries worldwide.
 
Responsibilities will include;
  • Building and maintenance of data-driven analytics and analysis to aid, enhance and optimise marketing strategy and spend.  

  • Interpret key metrics generated through a variety of on-line campaigns and numerous landing pages, to assess conversation and help drive innovation 

  • Partnering with a variety of business teams and external agencies to gather, document and maintain business requirements that will inform data modelling decisions. 

  • Identifying opportunities for increased automation and efficiency through technical solutions.

  • Reporting and presenting to management team findings of analytical studies  

  • Compiling data from various sources into a single, consumable, data set, including design and implementation of data models, and advising on budget planning

  • Interpret data into actionable insights which improve marketing strategy and clearly communicate recommendations to senior management.  

To be considered suitable you will need the following skills and experience

  • Strong understanding of and personal interest in current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice. 

  • Digital analytics experience with the ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources and present well-reasoned recommendations back to the business.  Experience with prediction models and quantitative analysis.

  • Excellent database and reporting experience using applications software – e.g.  Google Analytics, Hubspot, Googletech, HotJar.  An understanding of digital tracking, measurement, and reporting tools essential.

  • Proven experience of improving conversion and customer/ client value by analysing media spend and effectiveness to identify optimisation opportunities.
