A fast-growing and successful telecommunications company is looking to add a Vendor & Contracts Manager to its team in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
This role will be responsible for the procurement of services/products, managing contracts and suppliers to ensure the business receives quality service in line with SLAs and at competitive prices. You will also be responsible for defining supplier strategy and ensuring suppliers meet the requirements of the business through effective monitoring and reviewing.
Other responsibilities will include;
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and Project Managers to determine service needs
- Identifying new suppliers and analysing the supply market
- Producing RFQs and managing the supplier selection process
- Evaluating contracts and supplier performance
- Establishing and negotiating contracts
- Cost analysis and monthly supplier reviews
- Ensuring compliance across SOX and procurement policies
- Developing strategic relationships
- Supplier KP and financial performance management
This Vendor and Contracts Manager role is paying a starting salary of up to £65,000 based on skills and experience.
To be considered suitable you will need to have previous experience in procurement, vendor/supplier management as well as contract management. You will also be required to have the following:
- Telecommunications/networking industry experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse data
- Knowledge of contract drafting and commercial terms
