A well-established business is looking for a Test Analyst with experience across the full SDLC to join its team based in Putney, south west London, on an initial 6 month contract. The business embraces flexibility so you will be able to work from home 3 days per week.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have extensive software testing experience in a .Net and SQL environment. You will also have experience of implementing a full test strategy and have the ability to plan, write and execute test cases. You will have experience with system and regression testing in Agile environments and have solid experience with test management tools such as VSTS and Test automation (Selenium/TestComplete etc).
You will work as key member of the product development team to define the testing of web based applications in line with Agile principles. You will take ownership of the definition and establishment of a Testing strategy for the new system production through the greenfield development, initial release and continuous development. You’ll create test scripts and other test artefacts, and manage the test case management tool (currently VSTS). You will also define how automated acceptance tests are used in the release cycle, execute tests and coordinate UAT activities.
Working within an agile (Scrum) environment you will be responsible for the initial definition and implementation of a complete test strategy from development to production. In this varied role you will perform functional and non-functional testing for both product development and project implementation. You will expand on the existing automated testing approach and define the approach for new development. ISTQB certification and exposure to Azure or other cloud based technologies would be advantageous to your application.
You will be an experienced tester with hands-on responsibilities across the full software design lifecycle, utilising your extensive knowledge and experience as a valuable member of the project team.
