A position is available for a Technical Trainer in fast-growing Software Company. The ideal candidate will be able to learn new software and new technologies quickly with minimal guidance. They will also have a software training background.
The candidate must be flexible and be willing to adapt to situations in order to meet the demands of the organisation. This role may involve up to 80% travel depending on the needs of the business.
The candidate will be working as part of the training team to create and deliver courses to clients and partners throughout the world with the US being the primary location. As this is a customer facing role we will require an individual who can build relationships with all tiers of an organisation from management to end user.
The trainer will also have a technical background and understand the workings of Windows Server and assist with the maintenance of the training servers.
Good written English skills and previous training document creation experience is essential.
 
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct end user training courses at the client's sites in EMEA and ROW when necessary.
 *Designing and developing supporting course documentation
* Internal training within the organisation
* Maintaining and developing course training manuals.
* Preparation of course data
* Help maintain training servers with latest releases
 
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
* A minimum of 2 years of software training experience
* Ability to write training material and/or technical documentation
* Have good knowledge and experience with Databases and reporting.
* Windows Server
* SQL or MDX experience
* Ability to write training material and/or technical documentation
* Ability to work using their own initiative Strong communication skills
* Flexibility to travel.
* Second language desirable (German, French, Spanish) with the ability to teach in a second language advantageous
*Data centre experience/knowledge desirable.
 
Professional and Educational Requirements
* Degree educated with a minimum 2.1 honours degree
* TAP certification or other training certification
* Qualifications in teaching desirable.
