Our client, a fast-scaling sports brand undergoing significant digital transformation are seeking a highly capable Lead Technical Specialist to own and lead their e-commerce and business systems transformation. This is a far reaching and delivery focused role with several key projects including a migration from their existing ecommerce platform to Shopify. The role is based at the company’s offices in West London 4 days a week with one day a week work from home.
As the Lead Technical Specialist you will be joining at a pivotal time for the company as they move into Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels and update their entire technology ecosystem including e-commerce, ERP, stock management, and enterprise integrations.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution and will see you managing the technical stack, supporting approx 25 hybrid/remote users and dealing with IT vendors and technology partners.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid experience in IT, digital operations, or systems management roles within an SME.
- Hands-on experience of managing a migration to Shopify and other e-commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data flows, and cross-platform connectivity
- Proven involvement in e-commerce re-platforming initiatives, either leading or supporting implementation
- Experience contributing to ERP and inventory/stock management system implementations
