A successful manufacturing company with a global reputation is looking for an IT Manager to be based in the Rochester area, Kent (commutable from parts of South East London).
Reporting into the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s computer systems and infrastructure for approximately 300 users in the UK. This is a technical AND strategic role with duties to include creating and delivering an IT strategy, providing technical hands-on support, planning and managing all IT projects, overseeing the IT budget as well as managing a small IT team.
In order to be suitable for this position you must have experience working in a Senior Technical Support Engineer, Lead Systems Administrator, Systems Manager, Technical IT Manager or similar senior IT role. It is essential to have broad technical knowledge including Microsoft stack, security, networking, data centre management and data governance, database systems and ERP / MRP.
