Senior Technical Mac/Windows Consultant - London
A leading Mac and Windows managed service provider is looking to add to its senior technical team by hiring a Technical Consultant. This business has a range of high level clients in the London area including Fortune 500 and FTSE 100 businesses. The company specialise in Mac and Windows environments and the role will involve everything from initial client pre sales support to consultation and integrations.
The salary on offer for this Senior IT Consultant role is up to £75,000 based on experience.
Day to day duties will include:
- Supporting the sales team with system design and consultancy for systems installations and integrations
- Developing solution designs
- Managing the delivery of solutions from pre sales to delivery
- Working with the support team to provide high level support to systems when required
- Onsite client support when required (London based)
To be considered suitable you will need to have a strong Mac and Windows Engineer background at a senior level as well as the following;
- Ability to integrate Mac and Windows OS/iOS. Good knowledge of Linux operating systems such as Ubuntu and CentOS
- Experience in building cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure) and migrating customers to hybrid/fully cloud
- Mac and Windows deployment
- Virtualisation knowledge with Hyper-V and VMWare
- SAN understanding
- Azure Stack knowledge
- Networking knowledge (firewall, switches, Cisco etc.)
- Windows and Mac servers
- Network and server design
- Project management experience and ability to provide consultation to clients
